For this university project, the objective was to create a storytelling experience in a unique format. I centered the story around Woodstock 1999, a music festival that descended into chaos over four days.
Tools were limited, so I created an interactive PDF document. The story would unfold by exploring souvenirs and documents from two roommates, each with different temperments and perspectives on the event.
Including actual items from the festival such as wristbands and poloraids added to the sense of authenticity. I found and photographed newspaper clippings from USA Today that covered the festival. A television set could be turned on to see riot footage. Journals from the two roommates provided necessary exposition.
