UX, Modeling, Texturing:

A Boy and His Beard

Through 2016 and 2017, I worked as an asset and branding creator, as well as an UI/UX designer, for an indie video game, A Boy and His Beard. I created and textured 3D models, and prepped them for in-game use.

The game, published on Steam, is a fast-paced action game where the player defeats waves of enemies by swinging his beard. He collects beards from his defeated enemies (of various, themed genres), and uses them to increase his own beard's size.

UI/UX testing

During development, I ran UI/UX testing. While users played the beta, I observed and collected feedback. For A/B testing, we used alternate game modes and different controls. Their UX impressions were collated and used for control optimizations and an improved instruction screen.

In addition to the 3D assets and overall concept development, I provided graphic design work, creating the game cover, posters, social media assets, and video trailers.
