Figure Art

In college I took a gesture drawing class and a few other classes involving figure art. Drawing the human body has always been a difficult subject for me (please ignore the fact that I skip drawing hands more often than not), but it's also one of the more intriguing and satisfying. I hope to keep improving.

Here are a few examples of my work on the human form and anatomy in pencil, ballpoint, and digital. The gesture drawing complilation below was all done in conte crayon from live models in large, rapid sketches on newsprint.
